Will Brooks set to make UFC debut against Ross Pearson at TUF 23 Finale July 8th in Las Vegas

First reported by MMA Junkie it has been confirmed that former Bellator Lightweight Champion Will Brooks will finally make his UFC debut against Ross Pearson at the TUF Finale July 8th in Las Vegas at the MGM. This card is headlined by Strawweight Champion Joanna Jędrzejczyk and Claudia Gadelha.

Pearson was originally expected to take on James Krause however Krause pulled form the fight for undisclosed reasons.

Will Brooks has a MMA record of (18–1) and has won four out of his last four fights with two of those being over top Bellator contender Michael Chandler. Brooks latest fight was a unanimous decision win over Marcin Held at Bellator 145 in November of 2015.

Ross Pearson’s MMA record is (19–10-1) and a UFC record (11-7-1). His latest fight was a split decision win over Chad Laprise at UFC Fight Night 85 this past March.
