It was confirmed on UFC Tonight that two top Bantamweight’s will square off as T.J. Dillashaw will take on John Lineker at UFC 207 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the T-Mobile Arena, December 30th. This card will be headlined by women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes who will take on Ronda Rousey.
T.J. Dillashaw was campaigning for a rematch against Dominick Cruz for his Bantamweight Championship but he did not get him wish as Cruz scheduled to take on Cody Garbrandt at on the same card.
The former UFC Bantamweight Champion T.J. Dillashaw has a MMA record of (13-3) and a UFC record of (9-3). He holds notable wins over Renan Barao twice and Joe Soto. His latest win was against top Bantamweight contender Raphael Assuncao via unanimous decision at UFC 200 this past July.
John Lineker has a MMA record of (29–7) and a UFC record of (10-2). Lineker who has been having constant issue’s with his weight in both Flyweight and Bantamweight divisions is currently on a 6 fight win streak. He holds notable wins over Ian Mccall,Michael McDonlad and Francisco Rivera. His latest fight was a split decision won over John Dodson at UFC Fight Night 96 back in October 4th.
