Stipe Miocic will defend his UFC Heavyweight belt for the first time against Alistair Overeem at UFC 203, September 10th. The event will take place in Stipe’s home town of Cleveland, Ohio at the Quicken Loans Arena.

Miocic holds notable wins over Roy Nelson, Fabio Maldonado, Gabriel Gonzaga and Mark Hunt just to name a few. This will be Miocic’s first title defence as the new Champion.
Title contender Alistair Overeem has an MMA record of 41-14 and is coming off a recent 2nd round TKO win over team mate, Andrei Arlovski in his home of the Netherlands in May. He is currently on a 4 fight win streak with wins over Stephen Struve and Roy Nelson. His last loss was to Ben Rothwell back in 2014.
