Stipe Miocic to face Andrei Arlovski in the co-main event at UFC 195 in Las Vegas

It’s been confirmed that two heavyweights are set to scrap as Stipe Miocic is set to take on Andrei Arlovski at UFC 195 in the co main event January 2nd at the MGM in Las Vegas. This card is headlined by Welterweight Champion Robbie Lawler who will be taking on Carlos Condit.

Stipe Miocic was originally slated to take on Ben Rothwell this week at at UFC Fight Night Dublin but pulled out due to injury leaving Rothwell without an opponent.

Stipe Miocic has a MMA record of 13-2 and has won three out of his last four fights. Miocic holds notable wins over Roy Nelson, Fabio Maldonado and Gabriel Gonzaga just to name a few. Miocic most recent win was against Mark Hunt via TKO punches in Round 5 at UFC Fight Night 65 this past May.

The former UFC Heavyweight Champion Andrei Arlovski has a MMA record of 25-10 (1) and is currently on a 4 fight win streak in the UFC. Arlovski’s most recent win was over Frank Mir via unanimous decision at UFC 191 this past September.
