Reports came initially from Brazil that UFC Lightweight Champion Rafael Dos Anjos has suffered a broken foot. The news has been confirmed by MMAFighting.com that he suffered a foot injury late last week and has had to withdraw from his title fight against Conor McGregor at UFC 196, scheduled for March 5th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
According to MMAFighting.com the UFC are currently working on a replacement to fight McGregor.
Several names including Anthony Pettis, Frankie Edgar, Tony Ferguson, Nate Diaz and Donald Cerrone have been floating around as possible replacements to fight McGregor.
