Paul Daley and Michael Page Heated Exchange at Bellator Press Conference

Bellator MMA held a press conference in London on Thursday to announce fights for their upcoming event at the SSE Arena in Wembley, May 19th. The press conference consisted of just Bellator MMA president Scott Coker and British Welterweights Paul Daley and Michael ‘Venom’ Page.

The two brits had been linked to a bout against each other with Michael Page (MVP) calling out Daley over social media to take the fight. Unfortunately this fight would not happen, at least for now as Paul Daley accepted a fight with former UFC Welterweight Rory MacDonald scheduled for the main event. This fight will have title implications with the winner getting the next shot at the Bellator Welterweight Champion Douglas Lima.

However that did not stop the pair from going at it during the press conference. For MVP, he said the only fight he wanted was Paul Daley, he doesn’t call people out but for him it was personal. A match up hasn’t yet been found for MVP but Scott Coker confirmed that he will be in the co-main event that night.
