Nate Diaz is set to make his return to the octagon Nov. 3 as he takes on No.3 ranked Lightweight Dustin Poirier in the co-main event at UFC 230 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Nate Diaz (19-11) fought last in 2016 when he rematched Conor McGregor at UFC 202, falling short to majority decision. Previously to that, Diaz had submitted McGregor by rear naked choke at UFC 196 in March of the same year.
Dustin Poirier (24-5-1) is coming off a recent win over Eddie Alvarez at UFC on FOX 30. This was a rematch from their first bout at UFC 211 where the fight was deemed a no contest due to illegal strikes by Alvarez. Previous to his last win, Poirer had gathered two TKO wins over Justin Gaethje and Anthony Pettis.
