Mirsad Bektic to face Darren Elkins at UFC 209 in Las Vegas, March 4th

It’s has been confirmed by the UFC that two featherweights will clash as Mirsad Bektic is set to take on Darren Elkins at UFC 209 in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, March 4th. A main event for this card is yet to be confirmed.

Training out of ATT (American Top Team) Featherweight prospect Mirsad Bektic has a MMA record of (11-0) and a UFC record of (4-0). Bektic’s last four fights have ended with two decisions and two finishes. His latest fight was a Submission rear naked choke victory in Round 2 over Russell Doane at UFC 204 in Manchester October of 2016.

Long time UFC vet Darren Elkins who now trains out of Team Alpha has a MMA record of (21–5) and a UFC record of (11-4). Elkins has won three out of his last four fights in the UFC.He holds notable wins over Duane Ludwig, Diego Brandao, Pat Curran and Robert Whiteford. His last win was unanimous decision victor over Godofredo Castro at UFC Fight Night 95 in September of 2016.
