Matt Brown has suffered an ankle injury and is out of his fight against Kelvin Gastelum. The Welterweight bout was scheduled for the main event at The Ultimate Fighter Latin America 2, November 21st in Mexico.
According to Fox Sports the ankle injury isn’t severe so it shouldn’t put him out of action for long, but with the injury happening only weeks away, Brown had no choice but to pull out of the contest.
The UFC have not yet confirmed the news or announced a last minute replacement for Gastelum. Gastelum has however given Tyron Woodley an open invitation.
