Luke Rockhold vs. Jacare Souza 2 in the main event at UFC Melbourne Nov. 27th

It has been confirmed by the UFC that two top middleweights will square off as Luke Rockhold will take Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza at UFC Fight Night Melbourne, Australia November 27th.

This will be the second time that the two have squared off as their first clash took place at Strikeforce: Barnett vs. Kharitonov back in the month of September 2011. Rockhold defeated Jacare via unanimous decision to become the new Strikeforce Middleweight Champion.

Luke Rockhold has a MMA record of (15-3) and a UFC record of (5-2). Rockhold has won 3 out of his last 4 fights. Rockhold hold notable wins over Michael Bisping, Jacare Souza, Chris Weidman, Tim Kennedy and Lyoto Machida. His latest fight was a loss to Michael Bisping for the UFC Middleweight Championship at UFC 199 in the 1st Round this past June.

Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza has a MMA record of (23–4-1) and a UFC record of (6-1). Jacare hold notable wins over Gegard Mousasi, Robbie Lawler, Tim Kennedy, Derek Brunson and Yushin Okami. His latest win was TKO win in round 1 over Vitor Belfort at UFC 198 this past May.
