King Mo Lawal spoke to MMA Crazy reporter Louise Green in London ahead of his rematch against Quinton Rampage Jackson at Bellator 175, March 31.
The pair previously fought at Bellator 120 in 2014. Rampage won the bout by unanimous decision but king Mo believes he won that first fight. “He asked me for a rematch inside the cage after the bell rung because he thought he lost,” King Mo said. “But when I saw him I was like that’s it I’m going to kick his ass, nothing else. I’m going to kick his ass I’m prepared, I hope I get the best Quinton Jackson there is available. I’m going to go out there and handle business.”
Fighting this time at Heavyweight, King Mo said he will approach this fight the same as the last but is expecting Rampage to be bigger and stronger. “To get the win back I’ll be 2-0 against him so I’ll whoop his ass again this time. It will be definite,” he said.
“I will get my hand raised,” he continued. “I’m looking to punish him, I want to punish him and torture him.”
