Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Kevin Randleman has passed away aged 44. FOX Sports reported that Randleman was taken to hospital for pneumonia and later died following heart failure.
Randleman fought in organisations such as the UFC, Pride FC and Strikeforce. He made his UFC debut in 1999 at UFC 19 and went on to win the UFC heavyweight title at UFC 23 later that year. He fought fellow legends such as Randy Couture, Chuck Liddell and won an impressive first round KO victory over Mirko Cro Cop at Pride FC in 2004, one of the stand out moments in his career.
Kevin Randleman leaves behind his wife and four children.
