It has been announced on the program, ‘UFC Tonight’ that Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson will defend his title against Wilson Reis in the co-main event of UFC 201, July 30th in Atlanta, Georgia. This card will be headlined Welterweight Champion Robbie Lawler as he will take on top contender Tyron Woodley.
Demetrious Johnson has an MMA record of 24-2-1 and a UFC record of 12-1-1.
Johnson holds notable wins over John Dodson (twice), Joseph Benavidez (twice), Kyoji Horiguchi and Ian McCall just to name a few. His latest win was a first round TKO over Henry Cejudo at UFC 197 this past April in Las Vegas.
Former Bellator fighter Wilson Reis has a MMA record of 20-6 and a UFC record of 4-2. His latest fight was a unanimous decision win over Dustin Ortiz at UFC on FOX 18 this past January.
