Joanna Jedrzejczyk vs Claudia Gadelha likely as co-main for UFC 195 Rousey vs Holm

A second title fight in the woman’s division is likely for UFC 195. UFC President Dana White told The Los Angeles Times that the rematch between Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Claudia Gadelha is a possibility as long as Gadelha can fully recover from a finger injury she suffered recently.

Joanna Jedrzejczyk (10-0) would defend her title for the second time after defeating Carla Esparza and winning the belt back at UFC 185. Before winning the UFC Strawweight title she had defeated Claudia Gadelha in a close split decision. Since her split decision with Gadelha, Joanna won both her next two fights via TKO.

Claudia Gadelha (13-1) suffered her last and only loss to Joanna Jedrzejczyk in Dec 2014. Since then she defeated Jessica Aguilar at UFC 190 which has put her back into a possible rematch and title shot with the champion.

If the fight goes ahead it will co-main the headline fight of Ronda Rousey vs Holly Holm at UFC 195 Jan 2nd at The MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
