Jacare Souza to face Vitor Belfort in the main event at UFC Fight Night in Brazil May 14th

UFC have confirmed that two top Brazilian middleweight’s will square off as Ronaldo Jacare Souza is set to take on Vitor Belfort in the main event at UFC Fight Night in Brazil May 14th.

The former Strikeforce middleweight champion Ronaldo Jacare Souza has a MMA record 22–4 (1) and a UFC record of 5-1. He hold notable win over Ed Herman, Gegard Mousasi, Tim Kennedy, Robbie Lawler and Yushin Okami. Souza’s latest fight was a controversial split decision loss to Yoel Romero at UFC 194 this past December of 2015.

Vitor Belfort has a MMA record of 25-11 and has won three out of his last four fights. Vitor Belfort has been competing in MMA since 1996 and holds notable wins over various MMA vets including Tank Abbott, Wanderlei Silva, Randy Couture and Rich Franklin. Belfort’s most recent fight was against another MMA vet in Dan Henderson, where he won via KO (head kick and punches) in round 1 at UFC Fight Night 77 back in November of 2015.
