Three new fights have been added to UFC Fight Night London taking place at the O2 Arena in London, March 17th. First reported by the Sun, British fighters Leon Edwards, Paul Craig and Mark Godbeer will feature on the card.
UFC Welterweight Leon Edwards (14-1) will take on German fighter Peter Sobotta (17-5-1).
Edwards is coming off a unanimous decision win over Bryan Barberena at UFC Fight Night 115 in Rotterdam this past September. He now rides a four fight win streak after losing to Kamaru Usman at UFC On FOX 17 back in December. Edwards is 6-2 in the UFC since making his debut back in 2014.
Paul Craig (9-2) will take on Russian Light Heavyweight Magomed Ankalaev (9-0). The Scott Paul Craig is coming off two consecutive losses, both by KO/TKO in the first round. This was Craig’s first taste of defeat having been undefeated since making his professional debut in 2013. He has 8 of his 9 wins coming via submission and is currently 1-2 in the UFC.
Mark Godbeer (13-3) will go up against Dmitry Poberezhets (24-5). The Welshman won his last bout at UFC 217 due to his opponent Walt Harris being Disqualified due to a headkick thrown after the referred called time. Previously to that Godbeer had won by unanimous decision over Daniel Spitz at UFC 209. The Heavyweight is currently 2-1 in the UFC with his UFC debut ending in a submission loss in the first round.
