Fabricio Werdum set to face Stipe Miocic at UFC 198 in a 40,000 seat stadium in Brazil

It has been confirmed that UFC Heavyweight Champion Fabricio Werdum will take on Stipe Miocic in the main event at UFC 198 May 14th. The event will take place in Curitiba, Parana, Brazil at the Arena da Baixada soccer stadium which holds 40,000.

Fabricio Wedrum has a MMA record of 20–5–1 and has won four out of his lat four fights in the UFC. Werdum hold notable win over Roy Nelson, Travis Browne, Fedor Emelianenko and Mark Hunt just to name a few. His most recent win was over his opponent Cain Velasquez via submission guillotine choke in round 3 at UFC 188 in Mexico City, Mexico this past June.

Stipe Miocic has a MMA record of 14-2 and has won three out of his last four fights. Miocic holds notable wins over Roy Nelson, Fabio Maldonado, Gabriel Gonzaga and Mark Hunt just to name a few. Miocic most recent win was against Andrei Arlovski via TKO punches in Round 1 at UFC 195 this past January.
