Dustin Poirier vs Joseph Duffy Rescheduled for UFC 195

The bout between Joseph Duffy & Dustin Poirier has been rescheduled for UFC 195 Jan 2nd in Las Vegas.

The bout was first scheduled for UFC Fight Night 76 in Dublin Ireland but was pulled from the main event as Joseph Duffy suffered a mild concussion during training on the run up to the fight.

Duffy (14-1) is famously known for defeating Conor McGregor and was due to follow in his footsteps by headlining the main event at UFC Dublin in October before having to pull out. He is coming off a submission win over Ivan Jorge at UFC Fight Night Glasgow earning himself a performance of the night bonus.

Dustin Poirier (18-4) is also no stranger to Conor McGregor as he squared off against him at UFC 178 where he fell victim to a TKO loss in the first round. Since then he has moved to lightweight and has had two consecutive wins over Carlos Diego Ferreira and most recently, Yancy Medeiros earning him a performance of the night bonus. He was offered a fight with Norman Parke on short notice but turned it down as he and his camp wanted to wait for Duffy, the man he had been preparing to fight.
