Rafael Dos Anjos to face Tony Ferguson in the main event at UFC Mexico Nov.5th

  1. It’s been confirmed by the UFC that two top lightweights are set to clash as former UFC Lightweight Champion Rafael Dos Anjos will take on Tony Ferguson in the main event at UFC Fight Night in Mexico City, Mexico November 5th.

Rafael Dos Anjos has a MMA record of (25-8) and a UFC record of (14-6). Dos Anjos holds notable wins over Donald Cerrone, Anthony Pettis, Nate Diaz and Benson Henderson. His latest fight was a TKO loss in round 1 to Eddie Alvarez where he lost the UFC Lightweight Championship at UFC Fight Night Vegas this past July.

Tony Ferguson has a MMA record of (21-3) and a UFC record of (11-1). Ferguson holds notable wins over Yves Edwards, Gleison Tibau, Josh Thompson and Edson Barboza. His lasted fight was a submission d’arce choke on round 2 over Lando Vannata at UFC Fight Night Sioux Falls this past July.
