Conor McGregor yesterday set twitter on fire when he sent a tweet about retiring early.

This tweet caused a lot of speculation to whether things were running smoothy behind the scenes or not. Conor McGregor was scheduled to fight Nate Diaz in a rematch as the main event at UFC 200, July 9th in Las Vegas. UFC president Dana White made an appearance on Sports Centre to shed some light on the situation.
“We pulled Conor McGregor from UFC 200” He said. “Conor did not want to come to Las Vegas and film the commercial or be a part of any other marketing that we have. He’s in Iceland training and thats not possible.” He went on to reverence the time that they pulled Nick Diaz from his fight with George St pierre as the only other time in UFC history that they have pulled a fighter for not attending the press conference. “You have to do the press conference, so Conor put out that tweet, is Conor McGregor retiring ? Only he can answer that question I don’t know but he’s not fighting at UFC 200.” Dana said.
It is still unclear if retiring at this stage is the plan for McGregor. But his opponent Nate Diaz gave a responses over twitter.
I guess my work here is done I'm retiring too✌?️??
