Dana White focused on negotiating for super fight between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather

A potential super fight between UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor and boxing Champion Floyd Mayweather has been on the table for some time now and yet it seems that a deal is still not close to being done.

Dana White has said that he is starting negotiations with team Mayweather to set up the super fight between UFC star Conor McGregor and boxing champion Floyd Mayweather. The UFC president in a recent interview with TMZ said that “McGregor vs Mayweather is probably going to happen.”

“I working on that, Im focused on that and thats what they both want so I got to start negotiating with team Mayweather so we’ll see how that goes,” he continued.

Since the announcement of this match up, other UFC stars have also expressed their desire to test themselves in the boxing ring. UFC legend Anderson Silva called out Roy Jones Jr for a boxing match and the likes of UFC Light Heavyweight contender Jimi Manuwa and Jose Aldo also putting their names into the boxing conversation.

With such a big interest from both the MMA and boxing communities over this potential super fight, and with both McGregor and Mayweather predicting to get big pay days, its just a matter of time until we hear of a finalised deal between the camps.
