Cris Cyborg (18-1-1) won the vacant UFC Women’s Featherweight title at UFC 214 in July when she defeated Tonya Evinger by TKO. This was Cyborg’s third fight in the UFC having fought twice in catch weight bouts. She has won 16 out of her 18 wins by KO/TKO, 11 coming within the first round.
Holly Holm (11-3) famously dethroned the long reigning Champion Ronda Rousey in shocking upset at UFC 193. Since winning the UFC Women’s Bantamweight title Holm went on to lose her next three fights, one of those being to Germaine de Randamine for the inaugural Women’s Featherweight title at UFC 208. But having come off a recent win to Bethe Correia, Holly Holm will now get another shot at the 145lbs belt.
UFC 219 takes place at the TMobile Arena in Las Vegas, Dec. 30.
