Conor McGregor calls Khabib Nurmagomedov’s performance at UFC 219 “Dog S**t“

UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor broke his silence via twitter on New Years Day to address the recent win of Lightweight contender Khabib Nurmagomedov and his awaited return to the octagon.

Conor McGregor last fought in August 2017 when he entered the boxing ring for the first time in a super fight against Floyd Mayweather. Since then, it has been unclear when and if the Notorious one will return back to the UFC to defend his UFC Lightweight Title.

McGregor won his Lightweight title at UFC 205 back in November 2016 when he defeated former champion Eddie Alvarez by TKO. He has yet to defend his title therefor an interim title was made, currently held by Tony Ferguson. But the UFC’s end of year show, UFC 219 featured a standout performance by Lightweight contender Khabib Nurmagomedov. He defeated elite striker Edson Barboza in a one sided beatdown that confirmed Nurmagomedov’s right to fight for the title. In his post fight octagon interview, Khabib told Joe Rogan he wants to fight UFC Interim champion Tony Ferguson next as he doesn’t think Conor McGregor will return anytime soon due to the amount of money he now has.

Conor McGregor responded, That Dagestani was dog shit the other night you’s are all nuts. Game full of sloppy bums asking to be slept. Pay me my worth and Kings back.

He continued with a series of tweets calling to be begged if he is to return, “get on your f**king knees and beg me.”

Khabib Nurmagomedov wasted no time in sending back a reply to the tweets,
