Conor McGregor on Eddie Alvarez “If he does make it to the fifth, that’s when I take off”

John Gooden spoke to Conor McGregor during the filming of the UFC 205 Countdown show. After rounds of sparring, John asked Conor if he was happy where he was so far in his camp and Conor replied, “Im coming alive in the fifth round”.

“I don’t think he’s (Eddie) going to last anywhere near the fifth round. If he does, he’ll never fight again” Conor said. “If he does then Ill take my hat off to his heart but he’ll be like Nate, he’ll never ever ever be the same again. But if he does make it to the fifth, thats when I take off. Im sprinting in the fifth so we’re ready.”

Conor McGregor will take on UFC Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205 in Madison Square Garden in New York this November 12th. As the current UFC Featherweight Champion, Conor McGregor has the opportunity to become the first champion to hold two belts in two different weight classes at the same time.
