Conor McGregor has confirmed to TheMacLife.com that he has reached an agreement with the UFC and has signed his half of the deal to fight Floyd Mayweather.
This means that it is now down to Floyd Mayweather and his team to agree and finalise their half of the deal in order to make this super fight happen.
Speaking to TNT on Wednesday, UFC president Dana White said, “The McGregor side is done, I’m starting to work on the Mayweather side now. I’m not saying the fight will happen, but but I got one side done, it’s time to work on the other. If we can come to a deal with Haymon and Mayweather the fights going to happen.”
Conor McGregor then confirmed this news by issuing a statement to TheMacLife,
“It’s an honour to sign this record breaking deal alongside my partners Zuffa LLC, The Ultimate Fightinf Championship and Paradigm Sports Management.”
“The first and most important part of this historic contract has officially been signed off on. Congratulations to all parties involved. We now await Al Haymon and his boxers signature in the coming days.”
