CM Punk set to face Mickey Gall at UFC 203 in Cleveland Sept. 10th

It’s been confirmed that former WWE Superstar CM Punk will take on Mickey Gall at UFC 203 in Cleveland Ohio September 10th. CM Punk confirmed the news on the UFC Unfiltered Podcast with Matt Serra and Jim Rome. The news was also reported as being in the works by MMA Reporter Ariel Helwani. This card will be headlined by UFC Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic who will take on Alistair Overeem.

Phil Brooks also known as CM Punk has a MMA record of (0-0). He has not yet competed in a sanction MMA fight which is unheard of. Punk trains out of Roufus Sport that has the likes of former UFC Lightweight Champion Anthony Pettis, Sergio Pettis and Ben Askren.

Mickey Gall has a MMA record of (2-0) and a UFC record of (1-0). Gall was discovered on the YouTube show Dana White looking for a fight where he called out CM Punk. His latest win was against Mike Jackson at UFC Fight Night 82 via submission rear naked choke in round 1.
