Brock Lesnar confronts new two division champion Daniel Cormier after UFC 226

Daniel Cormier made history at UFC 226 after knocking out UFC Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic and becoming a two division champion. He becomes just the second fighter in UFC history to hold two belts from two difference weight classes simultaneously, the first being Conor McGregor.

After having the Heavyweight belt wrapped around his waist, Daniel Cormier took to the mic to call out Brock Lesnar for a heavyweight showdown and invited him into the octagon.

Brock Lesnar was last in the octagon in July 2016 when he fought Mark Hunt at UFC 200. Although he won the bout, it was later overturned to a no contest after Lesnar tested positive for a banned substance. He has since spent time back in the WWE and will have to sit out the remainder of his 6 month suspension issued to him by the Nevada State Athletic Commision before the fight can go ahead.
