Brock Lesnar confirms he will not return to the UFC

Brock Lesnar confirmed today on ESPN Sports Centre that he will not be returning UFC and will remain with the WWE.

In the interview Brock Lesnar states

“My legacy in the Octagon is over. I was born to be an entertainer. I could go back to the Octagon but what am I going to gain. I didn’t want to leave the UFC on a losing streak. Thats’s just the competitive side of me. Im officially closing the door on MMA.

Brock Lesnar stated that it took him a whole year to decide whether to remain in the WWE rather than go to the UFC.

For months rumours where swirling on Brock Lesnar returning to the UFC, as it was well publicised that his contract would be up after WWE’s annual event Wrestlemaina. Speculation reached an all time high when Brock Lesnar attended UFC 184 back in February when he was pictured with UFC President Dana White.

Brock Lesnar also confirmed in the interview that it was not a bartering pitch him attending UFC 184 it was to feel the energy.
