It was confirmed by Dana White on friday night that former UFC Heavyweight Champion and current Inside MMA analyst Bas Rutten will be apart of the UFC Hall of Fame class of 2015.
Rutten will be inducted into the pioneers era wing of the UFC Hall of Fame for fighters who began their careers prior to 17th November 2000.
The Dutch Kick-boxer Bas Rutten finished his career with a record of 28-4-1. Rutten retired after winning the UFC Heavyweight title at UFC 20 May with a split decision win over Kevin Randleman. He then came out of retirement in 2006 where he took on Ruben Villareal at WFA: King of the Streets and won via TKO leg kicks in Round 1.
The UFC induction ceremony will be apart of the International fight week for UFC 189 Aldo vs McGregor 11th July. More fighters are expected to be announced for the modern era wing of the UFC Hall of Fame.
