Andrei Arlovski vs Francis Ngannou set for UFC Denver

UFC Heavyweight’s Andrei Arlovski & Francis Ngannou will go head to head at UFC Denver, January 28th.

Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Andrei Arlovski is currently 25-13-1 and coming off three straight losses in a row. He lost to the current Heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic by first round TKO at UFC 195 in January and then went on to suffer losses to Alistair Overeem and Josh Barnett. He will look to turn things around with a win over Francis Ngannou.

Francis Ngannou has made a big impression since he made his UFC debut back in 2015 when he knocked out Luis Henrique in the second round. Since then he has stopped all of his next three opponents within the second round. His most recent win was a first round submission over Anthony Hamilton at UFC Fight Night Albany, earning him a performance of the night bonus.

This event is headlined by a woman’s Bantamweight bout between Julianna Pena and Valentina Shevchenko. This will take place at the Pepsi Centre in Denver, Colorado.
