The UFC have officially announced that Anderson Silva will take on Uriah Hall at UFC 198. This card will take place in Curitiba Brazil, May 14th.
The former Middleweight champion Anderson Silva has an MMA record 33-7-1 and a UFC record of 16-3-1. He is coming off a recent loss to Michael Bisping at UFC Fight Night London with the bout causing some controversy. Prior to that loss he had been suspended for 12 months and his last fight against Nick Diaz changed to a No Contest as he tested positive for banned substances Drostanolone and Androsterone before and after his fight at UFC 183.
Uriah Hall has an MMA record of 12-6 and a UFC record of 5-4. Is is coming off a decision loss to Robert Whittaker at UFC 193 last Novemeber. Prior to that loss Hall had scored an impressive 2nd round TKO finish over Gegard Mousasi in September. He has won 8 out of his 12 wins by KO/TKO and has won two out of his last four fights.
This card is headlined by a title fight between UFC Heavyweight Champion Fabricio Werdum and Stipe Miocic.
