Anderson Silva set to face Michael Bisping at UFC Fight Night London

Its been confirmed by UFC president Dana White that Anderson Silva will take on Michael Bisping at UFC Fight Night London  in the main event at the o2 Arena February 27th.

It was previously announced to be Gegard Mousasi taking on Bipsing but it seems that the plans have now changed and The Spider  Anderson Silva will return to London to compete. It has also been confirmed by Dave Sholler. that they are currently looking for a new opponent for Mousasi which has yet to be announced.

Former Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva (33-6-1) is coming off a 12 month suspension and the fight changed to a No Contest suspension as he tested positive for banned substances Drostanolone and Androsterone before and after his fight against Nick Diaz at UFC 183 this past January in Las Vegas.

Michael Bisping (27-6) is coming off a recent win over Thales Leites in Glasgow this past July, winning the bout by split decision. He is currently on a two fight win streak after loosing to Luke Rockhold by submission in Australia, November of last year. This is the first time Bisping has had two consecutive wins in a row since 2011. He has won three out of his last four fights.
